Review of "was für" and 2-Way Prepositions

Daily Objectives:

1.) Students will build sentences in German when given the different elements of the sentence in the incorrect order. (Cognitive)

2.) Students will formulate questions using the “was für” construction after seeing data that answers those questions. (Cognitive)

3.) Students will correctly identify the case of a noun following a two-way preposition depending on whether the preposition indicates direction or location. (Cognitive)

A: Show graphs from yesterday’s surveys

B: Formulate “was für” questions for each graph

II: Two-way Prepositions

A: Review two-way prepositions song

wo = dative wohin = accusative

Assessment:

1.) Students will be assessed on their ability to build sentences in German when given the different elements of the sentence in the incorrect order through the class discussion.

2.) Students will be assessed on their ability to formulate questions using the “was für” construction after seeing data that answers those questions through class discussion.

3.) Students will be assessed on their ability to correctly identify the case of a noun following a two-way preposition depending on whether the preposition indicates direction or location through class discussion, textbook exercises, and the Two-Way Prepositions worksheet.
