  • Designed and implemented a unit regarding an introduction to the Middle East which focused upon the geography and culture of the region in order to provide a better understanding of current events within the region such as the war in Iraq

  • Directed group activity that had students determine whether water or oil was of greater significance to the Middle East which gave students a new perspective regarding how people within the region live
