Learning is an investigative process and takes time; therefore, patience is key.
I believe that creating a harmonious and balanced classroom, both physically and mentally, will provide a safe and inviting environment for students. This, in turn, promotes student-centered learning. All students are capable of learning, and should have the opportunity to learn in a safe and respectful environment. Honesty and trust between students and teachers are necessary in a comfortable classroom.
Investigations, inquiry and personalized experiences for students help to create strong mental connections to learning. Students need to be taught experiences and expectations, and practice them daily in order to enhance their understanding of them. By figuring things out for themselves, students are able to create strong external connections and strengthen their memory of such experiences.
